“I’m still a student of the art and business of hairstyling. What I cherish most, though, are the relationships that we develop with each of our guests, and the opportunities to work with new and veteran hairstylist to help them discover the possibilities in our industry. I’m very excited about sharing the unlimited possibilities of touching people’s lives through this profession.”

Nick on his team at JVBS:
“We’ve got an incredible team here Joseph’s Vintage. In 2016, my son, Joe, and I opened Joseph’s Vintage Barbershop & Salon. The initial vision was to combine talents, to offer fashion forward traditional barbering and styling in a family oriented, cozy setting. With Tassia deciding to apprentice, an additional energy was added. She developed a passion for hair extensions and color, adding diversity to our menu options. As our business continued to grow, Tassia became part of our management team to help with customer care, team development, and social media outreach.
Ali, a licensed cosmetologist, came on board as an apprentice, wanting to get her barber license. Her outgoing personality and sense of humor brought a new dimension to our growing team. Her passion for nail design and care, gave us a kickstart to adding these services to our menu.
Glenn was actually a client of Joey’s since he was 8 years old! He joined our team after graduating from the Camp Hill Barber Styling Institute. He brings a diverse and caring energy as he continues to hone and develop his talents.
Through a recommendation from a client, Jamie came in for a discussion on the possibilities of adding massage therapy to the mix. The chemistry felt right, so she decided to bring her gifts and caring spirit.
Through encouragement from Glenn, Katelyn, a licensed cosmetologist, came in for an interview after completing her hours at Camp Hill Barber Styling Institute. She joined our growing family, bringing with her a diverse skill set, creativity, and sense of purpose.
Looking for a new career path and finding us through our social media sites, Jessie loved the vibe we had going and reached out to see if we did an apprenticeship! Jessie is currently a JVBS apprentice she is growing each and every day behind the chair and her infectious personality fits in beautifully with our team! We can’t wait to see what this industry has in store for her creative spirit!
Our team members all bring a unique, diverse skillsets and attitudes, yet a common purpose of making others look and feel better about themselves. We couldn’t be more grateful for our entire JVBS family.”

Glenn is a Northern York County High School graduate and lives in Dillsburg. Glenn’s connection with JVBS actually goes way back to his childhood, growing up getting his hair cut by Joey. He is a licensed barber and loves the opportunities this profession allows in meeting new people.
He says, “I love working in this profession and working with Joey, who has been cutting my hair since I was 8 years old. Since starting my career in hair, I have grown so much and learned a lot along the way. I always look forward to learning more, whether it be color or styling hair. My favorite thing to do with hair is give someone a new look and help them find their hair personality. “Whether you’re just in town visiting and need a haircut or you’re a long-time resident of the area and need a change of pace. It’s always nice to see people leave happy with their new style, then come back when it gets a little shaggy or want to try something else.” ”
When he’s not in the shop, Glenn loves to clean and spend time with family and/or friends. His weekends consist of decompressing, relaxing, and getting everything ready for the next week to start off on the right foot.
